Getting to You in Asok, Honestly
Asok is the interchange between BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit, sitting where Sukhumvit Road crosses Ratchadaphisek. That crossing is the reason arrival times here are less predictable than anywhere else we cover.
Between about 5pm and 7pm, a journey that takes twelve minutes at midnight can take thirty five. We will quote you the longer end in that window rather than the number that sounds better. If you can wait until after 8pm, you will usually get a faster arrival and a calmer therapist.
The sois either side behave differently. Soi 21 and the streets running north toward Petchaburi are quick to reach. Soi 22 and the smaller lanes south of the main road can be slow at night because of the one-way system, so it is worth sending the building name rather than only the soi number.
Most of the towers around here run a strict front desk. Expect the therapist to be asked for ID or to have your room called before she comes up. Telling reception that you are expecting a visitor removes that delay entirely, and in the larger hotel buildings it is the difference between arriving on time and arriving ten minutes late.
